Forged from 1095/15n20 carbon steel in a random pattern damascus. High polished finish on the steel for extra contrast. Carbon steel holds a very fine durable edge but will patina and should be dry stored when not in use. The Gyuto style blade is a great all round chef knife to cover most tasks in the kitchen and features a concave “S-grind” to reduce surface area and improve food release. The handle wood has been stabilized in a resin to resist moisture and increase durability.
